self-isolated self-portraits
*presented in the order in which they were taken
It was a blessing in disguise when all the upcoming opportunities I had booked were suspended indefinitely, leaving me with free time and no ideas of how to continue to grow as a photographer. It started when after I took a simple stay-at-home photo, followed by a new headshot for my Instagram profile picture. What ended up following was a way to expand my horizons creatively and become more familiarized with my new camera. This series transpired into a way to take a break from the world, do what I love, and become all that much more comfortable in front of a camera. All in all it helped get me through the initial stages of COVID, and stay away from becoming complacent in a world standing still.
